Toast bread manufacturing, a story with over 40 years
DIATOSTA, S.A. started its activity in August 1977, managed by António Lameiro and Isabel Lameiro. The founding partners returned from Mozambique brought with them experience in the bakery industry, based on the knowledge and use of the most advanced technology at the time, especially German technology, which they already used in the development of their business and industrial processes. It specialized in the production of toasts and mini toasts manufacturing, maintaining and cementing a tradition in the Iberian peninsula - consumption, habit and placing this type of product on the table of consumers.
The first and only company in Portugal specializing in the exclusive manufacture of toasts and mini toasts, it currently has more than 300 employees working in 2 Production Units + 1 Logistics Unit (in a 3-shift regime), 12 production lines, 2 Distribution and a daily production of 90 T.
